Diaries. A collective exhibition of wartime art

08.07.2022 - 28.08.2022

Dear friends! After the long pause in our schedule due to volunteering and evacuating works of art, we are very glad to announce our return to usual exhibitory activity. We will continue to support one another as much as we did during the first days of invasion. Dymchuk Gallery in collaboration with NGO Kosmostabir presents ‘Diaries’, a col- lective exhibition that will last from July 8 till August 28. The exhibition features artistic works made by Ukrainian artists after February 24, when Russian troops launched their offensive against Ukraine. Every work presented in this exhibition depicts events that have happened during the last months and bears the traces of the artists’ individual perception and changes in the forms specific for their statements in peaceful time. The exhibition features painting, graphics, posters, and diaries. Curatorial team: Maxim Kovalchuk & Alya Segal.

With this project, we announce a series of collective exhibitions designed to give artists an opportunity to make their statements. The major part of the funds raised from selling works will be contributed to the Ukrainan military and volunteering organizations, the rest will be distributed among artists in order to support their activity. Please be welcome!
