Dedovshchina
November 21 – December 17
On November 21 at 19:00 Dymchuk Gallery will present a personal exhibition of Ilya Chichkan – “Hazing”. Ilya Chichkan is a hereditary artist; his grandfather and father were famous painters. Exactly this family artistic tradition Ilya interprets in his project “Hazing”. Taking as a basis the small chamber works of his grandfather – Leonid Chichkan, Ilya creates significantly enlarged copies of his Carpathian landscapes. Other details of the project the artist prefers to keep in secret, thereby fueling interest to the new project and maintaining suspense.
